Sheila is the founder of Employers Lawyers. She was called to the bar in 2002, and qualified as a coach in 2005. Commencing her career with pupillage at the well renounced Littleton Chambers, she has since practiced employment law both within companies as an in house barrister and in chambers as an independent practitioner working with a large number of employers and HR professionals.
She is a direct access barrister, meaning that members of the general public can hire her services without having to go to a solicitor first. In practical terms, this makes her services very cost effective, as well as ensuring that her clients do not have to liaise with a multitude of lawyers on their particular issue. She breaks the professional stereotype with her down to earth and friendly manner, favoured by her clients, and is particularly skilled at helping her clients understand even the most complicated legal problems, no matter what their level of Employment Law knowledge.
She also has an excellent track record in Court, but will always advice clients as to whether certain actions are worth taking to Tribunal or settling out of Court to avoid unnecessary expense. Sheila is a member of Warwick House Chambers in the heart of Legal London, from which she runs Employers Lawyers.
